Tip of the Day, May 6

06 May

May 6 – 2 Tim. 3:16; “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”.

The Mormon Church doesn’t adhere to the above verse; however they do litter their works with verses from the Bible to make them sound as if they’re from the Lord.  Remember in their Articles of Faith, they say that they believe the Bible ‘as far as it is translated correctly’.  This statement demotes the authority of the Bible while exalting another gospel they received from an angel of light, Moroni.

1 Nephi 13:39; “And after it had come forth unto them I beheld other books, which came forth by the power of the Lamb….that the records of the prophets and of the twelve apostles of the Lamb are true”.

Yes, more and more they try to sound and look like Christans but they never will come close! If there is a different god, Jesus, and holy spirit than Christians, they cannot fit. Here is a religion that won’t even let their members question authority when there are conflicting doctinal statements, about their history, or any other serious questions in their church. The Bible is the ONLY AUTHORITY that Christians use to make sure what people say is correct and the GO TO place for answers.
