Tip of the Day, April 7

07 April

April 7 – John 17:11; 20:17; “And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee.  Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.  Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”

There are times when something is so blasphemous there aren’t any words to describe its filth.  As you will see in today’s and tomorrow’s Mormon theology this is the case.  Here is Jesus, the most Holy God of all gods asking the Father to bless us.  The Church on the other hand has twisted it beyond measure.

_____

“Point 10.  The true church must teach that God and Jesus Christ are separate and distinct individuals.  John 17:11 and John 20:17.”

It is very difficult for many to understand the Trinity. The Bible attests to the Trinity and speaks of the Triune God. Jesus Himself attests to the Trinity. We can’t change His Word to fit what we don’t understand.

The Bible is the true, unerring Word of God by which all things are measured against. If something comes, such as this point, and doesn’t measure up to the Bible’s Word, then it is false and is surely rejected.

I agree, people can’t wrap their brains around the Trinity… God’s nature is beyond comprehension and understanding. For the creation to understand the Creator it would be like a toddler understanding quantum physics
