Israel Jews didn’t Know of Nephites

3 N 15:19-21; “But, verily, I say unto you that the Father hath commanded me, and I tell it unto you, that ye were separated from among them because of their iniquity; therefore it is because of their iniquity that they know not of you.  20 And verily, I say unto you again that the other tribes hath the Father separated from them; and it is because of their iniquity that they know not of them. 21 And verily I say unto you, that ye are they of whom I said: Other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”

Matthew 24:4-5, 23-24; “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Just how believable is that Mormon story? What Israelite wouldn’t have known about one of the other tribes? The way tradition was in those days the story of one of the tribes getting on a ship and high-tailing it to another continent would’ve been in their stories they passed down from one generation to the next.

Furthermore, where is the story of Nephi or Lehi in any of the Old Testament before the Babylonian takeover? Can’t find it you say? It’s no wonder. And why would Jesus keep secrets? Jesus of all people not telling the whole truth is a big fish story to swallow indeed.
