Journal of Discourses 7:227; “We have at times sent men on missions to get rid of them; but they have generally come back. Some think it is an imposition upon the world to send such men among them. But which is best—to keep them here to pollute others, or to send them where pollution is more prevalent?…We have tried to turn the filthy ones out of the flock, but they will not always stay out. A few such defile, to outward appearance, the whole flock; and we have it to bear.” – Brigham Young, Salt Lake City, April 7, 1860

3 John 1:11; “Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.”

Who thinks this way? While we’re all sinners, as Christians we want to shy away from such thinking. Why wouldn’t you correct those who aren’t conforming to Jesus’ teachings and why would you send them out on missions representing your organization?
