May 3 – “Hear O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD”. Deut. 6:4.
Whenever there are verses in the Mormon works that coincide with the Holy Bible I like to point these things out to the Mormon and then drag my dictionary out. Polytheism means that you believe in more than one god. You don’t have to worship them, just believe there is more than one in existence. Monotheism is the belief in one God. Mormons qualify as polytheists. They’ll argue with you on this but really, it’s a moot point.
2 Nephi 31:21; “…this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.”
