Tip of the Day, June 14

14 June

June 14 – Matt 5:9; “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”

The Greek transliteration for peacemaker is eirenopoios; it means to be peaceable.  Ironically enough this is not how the Mormon acts towards anyone who challenges their belief system.  You will encounter a myriad of angry outbursts towards the cause of Christianity.  In the following example you will see how they accuse others for the contention they see.

D&C 10:63; “And this I do that I may establish my gospel, that there may not be so much contention; yea, Satan doth stir up the hearts of the people to contention concerning the points of my doctrine; and in these things they do err, for they do wrest the scriptures and do not understand them.”
