Tip of the Day, April 12

12 April

April 12 – Acts 3:19-20; “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you”.

Once again the Church has mistranslated the word of God.  Not only is this verse taken out of context, the word refreshing means revival in the Greek, not restoration.  These verses are speaking to each individual.  To be refreshed by the Lord is to know that you’ve been given a cool spot of shade after the travails of the burdens of the day.  Our sins are heavy to carry and when we repent, the burden is lifted so that we may be refreshed to go another day.  Do you see how they hide the grace of our Lord?  This should make us sad for those that are ensnared.

“Point 15. The true church must be a restored church. Acts 3:19-20.”
