Jesus was Contaminated

Journal of Discourses 6:96; “We believe that we have a correct idea of the character of the Son from the writings of the Apostles…But while he was tabernacling in the flesh, he was more or less contaminated with fallen nature. While he was here, in a body that his mother Mary bore him, he was more or less connected with and influenced by this nature that we have received. According to the flesh, he was of the seed of Adam and Eve, and suffered the weaknesses and temptations of his fellow-mortals…” – Brigham Young, Salt Lake City, November 29, 1857

Hebrews 4:15; “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

The sad part about Young’s lies is how people will believe him.  We have enough written material in the Bible about Jesus to sustain us. We know what He came here for, we’ve been given the guidelines of how He fulfilled the requirements of God to be the perfect Lamb of God without sin and we’ve been given enough grace to let us know what He said to live life in the New Testament times.

Unfortunately when you’ve bought the lie that you can’t trust the Bible, that book tends to gather dust on the shelf it sits upon.  When in fact “the other testament” Joseph fabricated has little to no information of how Jesus fulfilled the righteousness of God and in fact doesn’t even talk about the Passover.  Sigh…
