Mandatory Tithing for Mormon Salvation

05 January

Doctrine and Covenants 64:23; “Behold, now it is called today until the coming of the Son of Man, and verily it is a day of sacrifice, and a day for the tithing of my people; for he that is tithed shall not be burned at his coming.”

Matthew 11:28; “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Our sweet Lord has told us many things, but the Mormon mandate above isn’t one of them!

Dear Mormon, if you’re tired of the rat race, Jesus has a spot for you my friend. His only request is that you give Him your heart. No money is needed for the true salvation He has to offer, and no secret names required for Him to prove His love for you. He paid the price so you wouldn’t have to. As the comforting story goes –

‘When I asked Him how much He loved me, He stretched out His arms and said this much as He died on the cross for me.’

Romans 10:9 simply says to confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and you’ll be saved! That’s it – this is all that’s required! What a welcome reprieve that was to my ears when I finally admitted none of my works were granting me salvation as they were all filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6

Besides, God has all the money there ever was, or will be, and doesn’t need anything!

We pray the Mormon people will take an honest look at what, and whom,\ they believe in, and turn to the Lord Jesus of the Bible!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
