Messages of the First Presidency 1:231; “Did I build on any other man’s foundation? I have got all the truth which the Christian world possessed, and an independent revelation in the bargain, and God will bear me off triumphant.”

James 1:26; “If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.”

This is obviously a false prophecy.  His death in 1844 is proof.
