‘What kind of god…’

General Conference, ‘Truth, and the Plan,’ October 2018 “…we also have a distinctive perspective on children. We look on the bearing and nurturing of children as part of God’s plan and a joyful and sacred duty of those given the power to participate in it.” – Dallin H. Oaks

Matthew 22:37-40 “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.38 This is the first and great commandment.39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

Mr. Oaks’ words are just heartbreaking. They have a worldwide pulpit, yet have chosen to debase God. This is one of the top reasons I left my beloved heritage. In four years we were expecting our third child, and I was extremely ill. Each pregnancy drained the very life out of me. I vividly remember pausing one day to look out the back window, and wondered what kind of god would demand I keep having kids if the process was so dangerous for me.

This General Conference talk is a confirmation of a mandate requiring women to prostitute themselves for their god; aka, sex for salvation. The biblical God doesn’t need women, nor men for that matter, to procreate in order to save them. Can you just imagine Jesus not hanging on the cross because someone didn’t have kids?

This unprincipled appetite reveals their idolatrous nature, and a disdain for God. One would think in the 21st century such degrading philosophies would be shelved. His word tells us Jesus came here to seek and save those that are lost – Luke 19:10.

Dear Mormons, please, consider what the God of the Bible says, not random speculative guesses as seen here today.
