The glory of God, we have been told by the Prophet Joseph, is intelligence; and we desire to gain knowledge and to become as intelligent as we possibly can…—Era, 24:866.” – Heber J. Grant

John 11:40; “Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?”

“Glory” in the Greek is “doxa” #1391 in Strong’s Concordance.  It means “glory (as veryapparent), in a wide application (literally or figuratively, objectively or subjectively):—dignity, glory (-ious), honour, praise, worship.”

How did Joseph Smith ever convince all these people that glory of God is intelligence?  Pray for them!
