False Prophecies of Mormonism
Book of Mormon Brings Belief in God
“A Book with a Promise,” Ensign, May 2008, 105; “As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we have the benefit and blessing of living scripture as declared by those sustained as prophets, as well as canonized scripture found in the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. . . . Written scripture, especially the Book of Mormon, brings us to believe in God and ‘be reconciled unto him through the atonement of Christ, his Only Begotten Son’ (Jacob 4:11).” – Craig C. Christensen
1 Peter 1:25; “But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.”
Titus 1:13-15; “This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; 14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. 15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.”
“…written scripture…especially the Book of Mormon…” Those words are an underhanded way of slamming the Bible. This group is the epitome of passive aggressive. In one instance they’ll call you a friend and in another they’re verbally attacking God and all He does for us.
Be wary of those who can’t tell the same story twice!
