Articles of Faith, pp. 287-288; “. . .If we compare the historical, prophetical, and doctrinal parts of the Book of Mormon with the great truths of science and nature, we find no contradictions–no absurdities–nothing unreasonable.” – James Talmage

Mosiah 5:15; “Therefore, I would that ye should be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in good works, that Christ, the Lord God Omnipotent, may seal you his, that you may be brought to heaven, that ye may have everlasting salvation and eternal life, through the wisdom, and power, and justice, and mercy of him who created all things, in heaven and in earth, who is God above all. Amen.”

1 Corinthians 15:58; “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

Why does ‘the most perfect book on earth’ say that Christ is “Lord God Omnipotent” who created the earth?

The doctrines of Mormonism don’t support this, and in fact denounces any hint of the biblical God that Christians know and cherish.

We found five contradictions/lies from this one verse alone! Here’s what Joseph Smith taught and firmly declared –

1.God didn’t create the earth, rather he just organized it. Doc. & Cov. 93:33

2.Jesus isn’t God, contradicting what Mosiah said. Encyclopedia of Mormonism, p. 548.

3.Joseph Smith claimed there was no Greek or Latin on the gold plates, but we found more than 7,200. One example; Christ is a Greek word. See Greek & Latin Word Chart.

4.God saved Christ; Christ didn’t have Power to Save Anyone. See False Prophecies of Mormonism in 3,000 Reasons to Leave Mormonism & Mormon Quotes.

5.The Bible shouldn’t be trusted, and there’s little value in it, yet Smith plagiarized it on numerous occasions. The Mosiah verse is just one example. See 1 Corinthians 15:58 reference above, and 3,000+ Mormon Quotes for more info.
