Who are the Other Sheep?

sheep33 Nephi 15:21-22; “And verily I say unto you, that ye are they of whom I said: Other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 22 And they understood me not, for they supposed it had been the Gentiles; for they understood not that the Gentiles should be converted through their preaching.”

John 10:16; “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”

Mormons like to believe the Nephites are the other sheep Jesus was referring to in John’s gospel. With that in mind, we have a few questions, and comments!

Where are the Gentiles in this scenario?

If Gentiles can’t be part of this fold, but can be saved, to which fold do they belong?

According to Alma there’s only two choices: the fold of Christ or the fold of the devil.

Alma 5:39; “And now if ye are not the sheep of the good shepherd, of what fold are ye? Behold, I say unto you, that the devil is your shepherd, and ye are of his fold; and now, who can deny this? Behold, I say unto you, whosoever denieth this is a liar and a child of the devil.”

Who are the Gentiles in the Book of Mormon? According to what the BoM says, there were two people groups; Lamanites and Nephites.

Where did the Gentiles come from, and how did they get there?
