11 July

July 11 – 2 Thess. 2:3; “Let no man deceive you by any means…”

This time we are dealing with fine silks and fine-twined linen, grain, gold and silver.  None of these things were in existence in Meso-America in 90 BC.

Do a quick search on the internet of the Aztecs, Mayan and Incan Indians.  You can print out a couple of pages of each different tribe to show the Mormons who these Indians were and what they worshipped.  At least one of them sacrificed live virgins in their temples; all three of the tribes were polytheists.  There was also no ‘church’ in the BC era.

Alma 1:29; “And now, because of the steadiness of the church, they began to be exceeding rich, having abundance of grain, and of gold, and of silver, and of precious tings, and abundance of silk and fine-twined linen, and all manner of good homely cloth.”
