Tip of the Day, August 31

31 August

August 31 – Romans 5:12; “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”

______

The lesson today is to study the two words, transgression and sin from an English dictionary.  Do NOT allow the Mormon to get away with changing the meaning of the English language.  Their salvation is dependant upon it!

_____

“Any parents who have observed their children’s behavior know that they often violate laws of the gospel. They hit brothers and sisters, demonstrate extreme selfishness at times, and can be unmercifully cruel to playmates. But while these are “transgressions,” they are not “sins,” because as Mormon points out, children are “not capable of committing sin.” (See Moro. 8:8.)”  Gerald N. Lund, Jesus Christ, Key to the Plan of Salvation [Salt Lake City: Deseret Book Co., 1991], 156.

“…laws of the gospel.”??? They are getting their Law and Gospel confused.
Children without sin??? Where is that in the Bible? They are making things up as they go along…

I heard a pastor put it plainly one time… “Do you think your children are not sinners? Let me ask you something, do you have to teach your children to be ‘good’, or do you have to teach them to be ‘bad’?”

When a child says, “NO!” to their parents, they are breaking the commandment to “Honor thy father and mother”

When they run over and take a toy away from another child (that they were playing with an hour ago and haven’t touched since), and yell, “Mine!”… they are breaking the commandment, “Thou shalt not covet…”

When you ask them, “Did you make this mess?” and they say, “No”… they are breaking the commandment, “Thou shalt not lie”

    etc…

and since Paul says that none are without excuse because the law is written on our hearts…
