Tip of the Day, April 23

23 April

April 23 – Ro. 1:20 says; “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.”

Doesn’t it stand to reason if God has ordained a work to be done that He will supply all your needs?  For instance, let’s say He wants you to write scripture, I’d venture to say He’d make sure you had enough plates or papyri to get His word through and at the same time not cause you to sin.

The verses below sound as if they are making up an excuse for future changes in case they’ve made mistakes.

Mormon 9:32-4; “And now, behold, we have written this record according to our knowledge, in the characters which are called among us the reformed Egyptian,  being handed down and altered by us, according to our manner of speech.  And if our plates had been sufficiently large we should have written in Hebrew; but the Hebrew hath been altered by us also; and if we could have written in Hebrew, behold, ye would have had no imperfection in our record.  But the Lord knoweth the things which we have written, and also that none other people knoweth our language; therefore he hath prepared means for the interpretation thereof.”
