Psalm 51:5; “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.”

Romans 5:12; “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned”.
1 Cor. 15:44-46; “It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.”

It’s not surprising Orson would make a comment like this. His friend, Brigham Young, said the same thing about Jesus.

Questions for today:

If the apostle Paul told us there’s no pre-existence, from where did Joe Smith receive this teaching from? There’s only 2 choices; the Bible, or Satan.

Stating that no spirits were contaminated until they came into contact w/ an earthly vessel would denote at some point somebody had to sin. Who was it and how did it come about if no spirits were contaminated?

Were evil people on earth without spirits?
