Racism in the Book of Mormon/Dark Skin because of Sin – Mormon Quotes

Alma 3:6; And the skins of the Lamanites were dark, according to the mark which was set upon their fathers, which was a curse upon them because of their transgression and their rebellion against their brethren, who consisted of Nephi, Jacob, and Joseph, and Sam, who were just and holy men.

Colossians 3:10-11And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Growing up in the Church I can remember always thinking I was less of a person and Mormon because of my dark coloring.  For years I felt God had to hate me for what I had supposedly done in the pre-existence.
