Light of Christ – Mormon Quotes

Encyclopedia of Mormonism has tried to define the Spirit of God in many ways.   When you look up the term “Spirit of God”, it says “Light of Christ”.  Under “Light of Christ” it says the following on pg. 835;

The Light of Christ refers to the spiritual power that emanates from God to fill the immensity of space and enlightens every man, woman, and child. Other terms sometimes used to denote this same phenomenon are Holy Spirit, “Spirit of the Lord,” and “Spirit of Truth,” but it is different from the Holy Ghost. The scriptures are not always precise in the use of such terminology, and several attempts have been made to describe the various aspects of this important manifestation of God’s goodness and being.”

Revelation 22:17-18And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.

So the Holy Spirit is a “phenomenon”?  They ascribe different meanings to the same name of God in order to confuse the members.  This is brainwashing.
