Justification, Sanctification and Sacredness – Mormon Quotes

“The Family: A Proclamation to the World,” prophets and apostles teach and testify of the sacred nature of the family.

The family is ordained of God. Marriage between man and woman is essential to His eternal plan…Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities. By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners.

Romans 10:2-4For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.  3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.  4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

It breaks my heart they have made up some rules they follow that have nothing to do with God.
