Jesus’ Atonement Ineffective without Joseph Smith

01 April

New Era, ‘Testify of the Restoration,’ April 2017;“Yes, our message is most certainly the Atonement of Jesus Christ and all that it stands for, but … Take away Joseph Smith and the First Vision, take away the events which followed, take away a direct restoration from heaven, and what do we have? We don’t have much…

We cannot reject Joseph Smith, nor forget him, nor omit him, nor try to tell our message without him without also rejecting the message and dismissing the powers that he brought. He stands at the head of the greatest of all gospel dispensations… I testify that many plain and precious truths of the gospel and all of the priesthood keys of that gospel had been lost from the earth and had to be restored. … We have to testify of such a restoration, or we have no testimony at all!” – Jeffrey Holland

2 Timothy 1:12; “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”

Oh dear, Mr. Holland’s testimony speaks volumes. ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, we believe in all that Jesus stuff, but…’

Whenever someone says but…you know what that usually means.

How sad for these people who have entrusted their very souls to men like Mr. Holland! The mantra of Mormonism is to ‘follow the prophet’, and while Holland may not be a prophet, members are heavily advised to follow all their leaders.

Pray for Jesus to shield the hearts and minds of these dear people before it’s too late for them! Show where they can find the truth in their Bibles of how and why this man’s advice is the doctrines of demons.

Perhaps one of the most important facts in all this is to whom the message was delivered. The New Era Magazine is written for their youth group. So now he’s lied not only to the general public, but kids as well.

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
