Jesus and Joseph Will Be Here Again

Journal of Discourses 26:302 “…the Apostle Paul makes this declaration: “For to this end Christ both died and rose, and revived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.”

So it is with the Prophet Joseph Smith. He has gone before with the keys of this dispensation, after having lived and conferred them upon the authorities of the Church, even all that was necessary until he shall come again to build up this kingdom preparatory to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

He with others are helping to carry out the great work of the redemption of the dead. And this part of the work we are called upon to perform in the temples. To be baptized for them, to be confirmed for them, and to perform all those holy ordinances for your righteous dead, for your worthy ancestry, which you have done or shall do for yourselves, makes you to become saviors upon Mount Zion.” — Franklin D. Richards, Provo, August 30, 1885

Matthew 23:12 “And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.”

Today we have a few questions about Mr. Richards’ comments…

Where in the Bible does it say Smith will return before Jesus does???

Exactly what keys to this dispensation is Richards talking about?

Exactly what are Joseph and others doing to carry out the great work of the redemption of the dead?

If Mormons are going to be saviors on Mt. Zion, where is Jesus?

What else could be said showing how the Church venerates Smith?

The Church today still believes they’re the saviors on Mt. Zion – their temple works are proof of this!

Pray for Mormons to understand they can’t save themselves, let alone their dead relatives!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
