1 Peter 1:25 “But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.”

As a review, Mr. Smith boldly claimed there was no Greek, nor Latin in his new gospel that he named the Book of Mormon.

Times & Seasons, vol. 4 (November 1842-November 1843): p. 194 “…There was no Greek or Latin upon the plates from which I, through the grace of God, translated the Book of Mormon Let the language of that book speak for itself.”

As you can see even after our extensive studies, we found yet another Latin word in ol’ Joe’s work.

Making matters worse yet again, the name ‘Isabel’ wasn’t in existence until the Middle Ages. Oh, what a tangled web we weave…
