False Prophecies of Mormonism

Grace is a Lie

Miracle of Forgiveness, pg 206; “One of the most fallacious doctrines originated by Satan and propounded by man is that man is saved alone by the grace of God; that belief in Jesus Christ alone is all that is needed for salvation. Along with all the other works necessary for man’s exaltation in the kingdom of God this could rule out the need for repentance. It could give license for sin and, since it does not require man to work out his salvation, could accept instead lip service, death-bed “repentance,” and shallow, meaningless confession of sin.” – Spencer W. Kimball

Well I really don’t know how he’d explain this one to the Lord.  Funny thing about this is how non-believers hold to the same philosophy this man did.

All of the Old Testament points to the crowning events in history that Jesus would die on the cross for the sins of man and be resurrected. All of the New Testament focuses upon these two events as well.

What more could God do for mankind than what He’s already done? Why isn’t the cross enough and why aren’t God’s promises held in the Bible enough to sedate man’s inquiries regarding their purpose in life and eventual destination?
