False Prophecies of Mormonism

27 November

Hell isn’t Always Eternal

Encyclopedia of Mormonism, pg 586; “A third meaning of “hell” (second spiritual death) refers to the realm of the devil and his angels, including those known as sons of perdition (2 Pet. 2:4; D&C 29:38; 88:113; Rev. 20:14). It is a place for those who cannot be cleansed by the Atonement because they committed the unforgivable and unpardonable sin (1 Ne. 15:35; D&C 76:30-49). Only this hell continues to operate after the Resurrection and Judgment.”

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9; “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.”

I wonder if they alerted the Lord on the policy changes…

“For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.” 2 Tim. 4:3-5. Mormonism and Christianity are not the same. Thank you for telling the truth.

It was explained to me in a Bible class one time years ago as to what hell really is. We know some of the bliss that being with Jesus puts us in: the comfort, suremess of His care, the Peace that passes all understanding, the love He has for each of us, and more.

Now imagine what the opposite would be like: being completely cut-off from Christ, the worst fears that we have had and more, complete abandonment of us to what is described in the New Testament-weeping and gnashing of teeth.

God tells us what it is in the Bible and what gets a person there. Mormonism creates new and more rulles with threats that make it sound as if God said thus and so. Yes, we should rightly know what hell is. BUT, at the same time, we should know the real sins that we do that can put us in this complete abandinment form God. Know the truth and not what men said in the LDS books.

Only by reading the Bible, the true Word of God, can a person know what God requires of him. When we become a Christian, Jesus will keep us with Him. BUT be fore-warned, we can remove ourselves from His presence by doing things God doesn’t allow, too.

When we are baptized in Christ, our names are written in the Book of Life; by our own we can remove our names from that book. Remember, that Jesus comes again when all on earth have heard about Him. but not all who hear will believe. God says in His Word that he doesn’t want any to be lost so that is why he is waiting.

Become one of God’s people in Christ Jesus, be baptized, and your name will be written in the Book of Life. Ingnore this is you want to go to hell instead.
