False Prophecies of Mormonism

No Man Will Go to Moon

Stake Conference, Honolulu, May 14, 1961; “We will never get a man into space. This Earth is man’s sphere and it was never intended that he should get away from it. The moon is a superior planet to the Earth and it was never intended that man should go there. You can write it down in your books that this will never happen.” – Apostle Joseph Fielding Smith

Comments and prophecies like this one today make me wonder if these “prophets” even care.

You see, people like my mother take their leaders at their word. She would never take it on her own initiative to question when the leaders prove themselves to be wrong. She won’t look back and think “hey this guy was wrong about the moon landing so what else could he be wrong about”.

When you’re in a position of authority and that goes for teachers as well, God holds you at a higher standard than everyone else – James 3:1 – so it’s best to be careful what you teach!

No, it’s true Michelle… They faked the whole thing on a sound stage in Hollywood. 9/11 was an inside job and Elvis is alive under FBI witness protection in Paducah, KY… I know cause I saw him shopping at the Piggly Wiggly just last week…
And the Moon must be superior, why else would it have 6 foot tall Quaker-like people living on it?
