Fail Proof Prophecies of Joseph Smith

History of the Church 4:605-606; “I now deliver it as a prophecy, if the inhabitants of this state, with the people of the surrounding country, will turn unto the Lord with all their hearts, ten years will not roll round before the kings and queens of the earth will come unto Zion, and pay their respects to the leaders of this people; they shall come with their millions, and shall contribute of their abundance for the relief of the poor, and the building up and beautifying of Zion.” – Joseph Smith

1 Corinthians 6:9-10; “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

Date of prophecy:  4/28/1842. 

Again this prophecy serves as a fail proof way of keeping their authenticity intact.  How can it be a prophecy when in fact you already know it won’t happen? 

Keep dangling that carrot…and for the record, the kings and queens were a no-show.

    The inhabitants of the state also never fully turned to the Lord, so the condition on which this promise was made was not fulfilled.
