Eyring’s False Doctrines: Godhood and Eternal Progression

23 April

General Conference, ‘My Peace I Leave with You,’ April 2017; “…our Father in Heaven is concerned not just about our comfort but even more about our upward progress.” – Henry B. Irving

Isaiah 43:10-11; “Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, And my servant whom I have chosen: That ye may know and believe me, And understand that I am he: Before me there was no God formed, Neither shall there be after me. 11 I, even I, am the Lord; And beside me there is no saviour.”

Why would God be  more concerned about helping you to become a god to take His place?

Furthermore, why would God say such a thing when He’s already told us He’s the only God, and there is no other God?

Sometimes it’s easy to detach ourselves from the situations in the Bible because they took place so long ago.

It’s hard to imagine people 3,000 years ago would be doing the same things we do now, but they did! The only difference is the way they communicated. No e-mail, internet, or instagram…Can you just imagine Nathan texting King David and saying, ‘Hey buddy, you really shouldn’t have done that’?

However beloved, don’t think for a moment the same scenario plays doesn’t play itself out every day, even in the 21st century!

Henry Eyring is next in line for the coveted Mormon prophet-hood position. As it is right now, he ranks as a false apostle. If/when he reaches the last possible position in Mormonism, by default, he’ll be a modern-day false prophet. That is scary.
