What the Book of Mormon and Pearl of Great Price say about Race

06 June

1 John 2:9; “He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.”

3-in-1The extra-biblical canon of Mormonism reveals many reasons why the LDS Church isn’t a Christian organization, and our focus today is on one of those reasons.

The racist narrative found in Mormon canon is unlike anything God would condone. The Lord created all men (Gen. 3:20) and from the first two people He created (Adam & Eve), all humanity sprang. See Answeringgenesis.org for more info on the different ‘races’ of mankind.

Because of An Inherent Sin Nature, We’ve All Gone Astray

Even though the Bible is replete with passages of God warning us to not judge others based on outward appearance, some people have chosen to ignore what God’s word says. We’re praying that Mormons will reevaluate what they believe, and trust God instead of the manmade canon they’re putting their faith into.

Listed below are verses taken from the Book of Mormon and Pearl of Great Price. Be sure to ask your Mormon loved ones what they think of these compared to what God has told us.
