A Response to Melissa’s Article

This morning I woke up to see that Melissa’s article has ruffled a few feathers.  The site that took issue with her article is Mormon Apologetics Research Studies. You can read their review here:

http://mormonapologeticstudies.org/2012/10/07/a-message-some-christians-wouldnt-hear-at-general-conference/

Now one of the authors for that site is a gentleman by the name of Timothy Berman who by the way has visited this site a few times and well, he got banned from posting because of his comments.

When you read the responses you’ll see why Melissa wrote the article.  Melissa’s article is here:

I gave them my reply so there will me more to and fro! Where do they get that they are “saved”? Not possible unless you are a Christian and believe in the Triune God of the Bible.
They wrote that the GC…shows them how to be better, husbands, wives, etc. What about Jesus? Not there!

I know. It’s bereft of His actual name. They use the term Christ a lot but don’t agree He paid for sins on the cross. Alistair Begg once said if you lose sight of the cross you lose your way in the Bible.
My heart hurts for the Mormon people. I certainly don’t have these sites to bash them – my life outside of ministry is/was already full. I do this because I know the truth gets out and you reply, Camden replies, and everyone else that writes or replies to them does it because of the truth and joy they’ve discovered in Jesus’ life He gave for us. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus is His name. 🙂
