June 20 – Col. 2:8-9; “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.”

This epistle to the Colossians is arguably one of the richest passages of scripture indicating the nature of Jesus Himself.  Paul lovingly warns us of the pitfalls of the modern-day philosophies, what they are filled with and compares those with what Jesus is embodied with; that being God incarnate.
