August 9 – Luke 8:9-11; “And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.”
As you can see here, the Lord said we would know the mysteries of the kingdom of God. The mystery when understood by His followers is Jesus Christ Himself. Ask your Mormon friend why their teachings have made it into something it’s not. They believe their priesthood is what gives them the answers to the mystery of God.
