April 24 – Is. 9:6; “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

I don’t believe there is a verse where the Holy Spirit actually praises God, but because the Mormons don’t believe in the Trinity, they seem to believe it is possible.  The other problem with this passage is the timing.  The Holy Spirit telling Nephi that he’s pleased Nephi believes in the Son of God.  How did Nephi know these things in 600 BC?

1 Nephi 11:6; “And when I had spoken these words, the Spirit cried with a loud voice, saying: Hosanna to the Lord, the most high God; for he is God over all the earth, yea, even above all.  And blessed art thou, Nephi, because thou believest in the Son of the most high God; wherefore, thou shalt behold the things which thou hast desired.”
