Theocracy to Monarchy in BoM Stolen from Bible History

11 November

Alma Chapter 1; “The account of Alma, who was the son of Alma, the first and chief judge over the people of Nephi, and also the high priest over the Church. An account of the reign of the judges, and the wars and contentions among the people. And also an account of a war between the Nephites and the Lamanites, according to the record of Alma, the first and chief judge.” – BC 91-88

Judges 8:22; “Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son also: for thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian.”

Today we’re not going into details of what these two references entail, rather, we’ve listed these to expose another lie in the Book of Mormon.

As we’ve stated numerous times before, there isn’t one doctrine of God, nor one biblical event that Joe Smith didn’t systematically turn upside down to suit his own needs.

Today’s post is a simple example to show what Smith has done you can use to witness to the Mormon in your life.

For example, how does this event in the BoM strengthen the relationship my mother has with Jesus?

What purpose did this story serve when they didn’t go into historical detail?

We see it as another method of confusing members of the Church when they sit in their Sunday school class learning about this.

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
