The Mormon god’s Confusion Over Where He Resides

15 June

Alma 34:36; “And this I know, because the Lord hath said he dwelleth not in unholy temples, but in the hearts of the righteous doth he dwell; yea, and he has also said that the righteous shall sit down in his kingdom, to go no more out; but their garments should be made white through the blood of the Lamb.”

Doctrine and Covenants 130:3; “John 14:23—The appearing of the Father and the Son, in that verse, is a personal appearance; and the idea that the Father and the Son dwell in a man’s heart is an old sectarian notion, and is false.”

John 16:7 “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”

This is a prime example of why Joseph Smith is a false prophet.

He told everyone the Book of Mormon is false by stating God doesn’t live in the hearts of mankind, yet he boasted the BoM was the most correct book on the face of the earth. History of the Church, 4:461 (28 November 1841)

You’ll also want to take note of the anachronism in the BoM. Alma lived c. BC 91-88.

The Holy Spirit didn’t reside inside man’s heart until Pentecost, not before. Jesus clearly told His disciples they couldn’t receive the HS until after He went away.

Furthermore, God’s word tells us He lives inside of us!

Hebrews 3:6

John 14:23

1 Corinthians 3:16

Ephesians 2:22

Colossians 1:27

Now tell me, how could anyone believe what this man says?
