Salvation Through Knowledge

20 May

History of the Church 5:387; “It is not wisdom that we should have all knowledge at once presented before us; but that we should have a little at a time; then we can comprehend it. … Salvation is nothing more nor less than to triumph over all our enemies and put them under our feet. And when we have power to put all enemies under our feet in this world, and a knowledge to triumph over all evil spirits in the world to come, then we are saved…” Joseph Smith, May 14, 1843

Romans 10:9; “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

By the time Mr. Smith uttered this falsehood, he was married to no less than 34 women, and most were done in secret without Emma’s knowledge.

If this man would do this, is it reasonable to believe his story on how we gain salvation?!

Most importantly – WHERE IS JESUS?!?

We pray all Mormons will read God’s word where they’ll find the truth!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
