Questioning – Mormon Quotes

Conference Report, October 1984, pg. 104; No true Latter-day Saint will ever take a stand that is in opposition to what the Lord has revealed to those who direct the affairs of his earthly kingdom. No Latter-day Saint who is true and faithful in all things will ever pursue a course, or espouse a cause, or publish an article or book that weakens or destroys faith.

1 Cor. 13:11-12When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

The author of that statement is right.  No true Mormon would ever investigate what the leaders say.  It takes courage and a determination to know Jesus and Him crucified to do such a thing.
