Ephesians 4:1“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive”.

What about my friends in Moore, and Oklahoma City, OK?  In the Lord’s eyes they’re righteous because they’ve accepted His Son as their Redeemer, yet tornadoes have wiped their homes off the face of the earth in 1999, and again in 2013. As we update this article, other Christian friends have been through the disaster of Hurricane Michael in Florida.

What about the dear Christians in Haiti, or Louisiana during hurricane Katrina? The list will continue to grow with the passage of time.

And what about events  outside of weather? An armed gunman entered my daughter’s college campus (June 5, 2014), and opened fire. He wanted to reenact Columbine. My daughter’s university is a Christian campus. She left the building less than five minutes before the chaos began, but regrettably one 19 yr old young man was murdered. All these people are following God, and walking in obedience. The young man that was murdered was living righteously…

Since we’re on this subject…Utah gets its fair share of earthquakes, floods, droughts, avalanches, tornadoes, etc.  How do they explain this?

Teachings like this show who they really are. Their teachings have nothing to do with God, and in no way reflects what Christianity is about. Pay close attention to the order of events in Jesus’ warning to His disciples on the Mount of Olives;

Matthew 24:7-12 “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold”.

Wars and earthquakes are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you to be afflicted and hate you and even hate one another. The false prophets arise to deceive and iniquity abounds and then people’s love for God grows cold. …

It’s amazing when you look at things in context. Everything our Lord warned us about is playing out right before our very eyes!

Pray for these dear people to look at things in context, and come to a saving knowledge of Christ Jesus and Him crucified!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
