Mormons are Under the Influence of False Gods and Spirits

The Learning of Eternal Truths

Brigham Young University–Idaho Devotional

“I ask that the Spirit of the Lord will be upon us today so that you and I might learn together. President Marion G. Romney once remarked that speakers, under the influence of the Holy Ghost might also learn, I quote, “I always know when I am speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost because I always learn something from what I’ve said” (quoted in Boyd K. Packer, Teach Ye Diligently, 1975, 304).” – Dale E. Miller [emp. mine]

Doctrine and Covenants 130:22-23; “…the Holy Ghost…is a personage of Spirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us. 23 A man may receive the Holy Ghost, and it may descend upon him and not tarry with him.”

2 Peter 1:21; “…prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”

John 14:17; “Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”

Mormons have gone out of their way to explain their unbiblical god, which in turn necessitates explaining their lies when showing why they can’t be trusted…sigh…

As you’re probably aware, the Mormon Holy Ghost isn’t omnipresent, nor is he omniscient. This makes the comments of both men (Miller and Packer) without a solid foundation on which to stand. Jesus said that a house can’t be divided against itself, so if you’re not worshiping the God of the Bible, then who, pray tell, are you worshiping? Mark 3:25

If they don’t believe God’s Holy Spirit resides inside of them forever, then by default, they’ve opened the door to demonic influences. Make no mistake, anyone can sound biblical by using 17th century Jacobean English –  just look at what Joe Smith did with compiling the Book of Mormon! However, doing such a thing doesn’t make anyone biblically sound.
