Mormonism’s Hypocritical Racism Gives False Sense of Equality

16 April

General Conference, ‘Prepare to Meet God,’ April 2018; “As we look at the primary purposes of the Church, they are all based on equality before the Lord and following the culture of the gospel of Jesus Christ. With respect to missionary work, the principal qualifications for baptism are humbling oneself before God and coming forth with a broken heart and contrite spirit. Education, wealth, race, or national origin are not even considered. …The Savior additionally explained that everyone is our neighbor. The Book of Mormon makes it clear …We must be united and equal before God.” – Quentin L. Cook

2 Nephi 5:21; “And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them.”

1 John 4:20; “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?”

Nothing but the date on a calendar has changed in Mormonism. The same trickery Joseph Smith and Brigham Young tried to pull off, was repeated in the Church’s General Conference in April 2018.

Using a verse from the BoM (4 Nephi 1:17), LDS apostle Quentin L. Cook, told people the BoM clearly showed how God considers all people equal. That verse loosely refers to this, however, the whole narrative of the BoM, does not.

The BoM verse listed above is a clear example of how Mr. Cook has chosen to continue the lies of Mormonism. If they, or even he, believed their god promoted non-racist views, the entire BoM would be tossed.

Don’t be fooled my friends! This is their attempt at rewrapping the same lies to fit in with the latest societal fad. The pretty new bow is a trick.

With Love in Christ;

1 Cor. 1:18

4 Nephi 1:17; “There were no robbers, nor murderers, neither were there Lamanites, nor any manner of -ites; but they were in one, the children of Christ, and heirs to the kingdom of God.”

Also see:

Alma 3:6, 8; “And the skins of the Lamanites were dark, according to the mark which was set upon their fathers, which was a curse upon them because of their transgression…8 And this was done that their seed might be distinguished from the seed of their brethren, that thereby the Lord God might preserve his people, that they might not mix and believe in incorrect traditions which would prove their destruction.”

One Response to “Mormonism’s Hypocritical Racism Gives False Sense of Equality”

Please explain how this proves that “mormonsism” is full of lies.
First, the lds church and “mormonism” are two different things, mormonism refers to people who believe in the prophet mormon. The lds church is commonly called “mormon” because they believe in the book of mormon which is another testament of jesus christ, they do not believe in “mormonism” and nor do they lie about equality.
Second, the verse you quoted (2 Nephi 5:21) it is describing how the nephites followed god and how the lamanites did not heed god and were cursed by god. The lamanites skin was black because of the curse but that doesnt mean that the generations of black and colored people today are cursed by god. That means that their forefathers were cursed because of their actions.
Third, I am only voicing my opinion and evidence i have found by reading the book of mormon. You can disagree with me and you can hate me for it. I wont ever spead false evidence against what you believe nor will i force what i believe on you. I respect you and i hope that you will do the same for me.
    Sincerely,
    Nathan Walker
