Mormon Terminology: Fulness of the Gospel

24 February

Mormon Terminology “What is Truth?” CES Broadcast, January 2013; “Yes, we do have the fulness of the everlasting gospel, but that does not mean that we know everything. In fact, one principle of the restored gospel is our belief that God ‘will yet reveal many great and important things.’” —Dieter F. Uchtdorf

James 1:17; “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

When, not if, a Mormon tells you the Book of Mormon is the fullness of the gospel, ask them why it doesn’t contain the major doctrines of what Mormonism is built upon.

Missing in the Book of Mormon are 16 vital doctrines upon which Mormonism is built. You can see a list of those in the article Important Mormon Beliefs Missing from the Book of Mormon.

If the Apostle James told us we don’t have to worry about God changing things around on us, then why does the Church teach just the opposite?
