MORMON PROPHET’S 2 MAJOR LIES TO LDS KIDS

17 November

‘But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck…’ Matthew 18:6

Friend, ‘The Correct Name of the Church,’ November 2018

Just when we thought we had heard the end of the Church’s message about calling them by their proper name, we came across one of their monthly magazines, ‘Friend’. They must’ve decided the lies wouldn’t have reached everyone, so they zeroed in on the most vulnerable: little children.

Pages from their magazine were filled with the recap of their general conference, complete with a PDF containing questions answered by Russell Nelson. We’re limiting this to just two of the most egregious items – lucky you and us!

1 —

‘Who named the Church? The Savior, Jesus Christ, did. He said, “For thus shall my church be called in the last days, even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints” (Doctrine and Covenants 115:4).’

Ummm…the Jesus of the Bible said no such thing!

See article where we’ve listed examples on how Jesus’ apostles referred to the body of Christ.  What’s the Official Name of True Christianity?

Furthermore, if Jesus gave Mormons the name of the Church, why did it go through so many revisions?  Chronology of the Church’s Name

‘Why is it important to always use the correct name of the Church instead of nicknames like “Mormon” church?

People who hear the term Mormon may think we worship the prophet Mormon. We don’t! The Savior said, “If [a church] be called in my name then it is my church” (3 Nephi 27:8).’

Oh dear. In all of my 50+ years, I’ve never had anyone ask if members of the Church worship the prophet Mormon. The majority of people in this world wouldn’t even know there was supposedly a prophet by the name of Mormon in the BoM.

Oh beloved, please pray for these dear little children, and I can’t emphasize the need greatly enough! Although I’m much older now, childhood memories are a vivid reminder of what it was like sitting in classes learning lies just like the ones we’ve seen today.

There’s no doubt in my mind I’m living proof God does hear the prayers of His people. Once I left the Church, an aunt shared with me how she and her church had prayed diligently for me over the course of many years, PTL! My dear Aunt Cokie was a true gem.

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
