Mormon Heaven Excludes Jesus

10 July

In all the changes the Church has made over the past several months, one has become a topic of discussion in a popular pro-Mormon chat-room.

Apparently, the Church added two additions in their missionary handbook, ‘Preach My Gospel’, in which they outlined the requirements for true salvation. In their conversation they listed the new additions, and afterwards went on to discuss how it is that Jesus, not being married and all, would qualify for the upper rung of Mormon salvation.

In part here’s what this section of Preach My Gospel says –

“The celestial kingdom has three heavens or degrees (see Doctrine and Covenants 101:1) and only those who have an eternal marriage, sealed by the Holy Spirit, can enter into the highest, which is exaltation (see Doctrine and Covenants 131:2). They will live in God’s presence, become like Him, and receive a fulness of joy.

Those in the celestial kingdom who do not have an eternal marriage can enter into another “heaven” or “degree” in the celestial kingdom, but in that place they are ministering angels who “remain separately and singly, without exaltation, in their saved condition, … angels of God forever and ever” …”

In all the work we do here at the ministry, this is one of the most heart-wrenching. Here’s a group of everyday members of the LDS Church wondering how Jesus is going to make it into heaven because He never married.

The thought of what this Church has produced is mind-boggling. The word of God tells us the fruit of the Spirit is –

Galatians 5:22-23 “… love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

Where is the peace of knowing Jesus? Why is there so much speculation about what may, or may not happen to Jesus?

And why pray tell, aren’t they discussing how awesome it is that God came down in human flesh to pay for our sins so we can have eternal life?

Please, pray for the Mormons who are now bothering themselves with this type of thought life, for the missionaries who carry this false gospel of lies, and for the potential victims they’ll be encountering as they do so.

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
