Mormon Dilemma 418

LDS Church doesn’t have to Rely Solely upon the Bible

A Marvelous Work and Wonder, pg 1; “The position of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or Mormon Church, will be discussed from the point of view that it is the only Christian church that does not depend entirely upon the Bible for its teachings.”

Galatians 1:6-9; “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

If there was ever a passage of scripture that best describes Mormonism this one from Galatians has to be it. Satan sits flaunting his conniving ways each time someone else is dragged into the muck and mire of this new aged false gospel, but God had already set a foundation in place to warn people of the deceiver’s ways!  Thank You Jesus!

Sadly we see Satan’s disastrous results each and every day in the ministry by those who write in to condemn us for preaching God’s most righteous and holy word.

If you’re a Christian why would there be an aversion to the Bible?

Why if you’re a Christian organization isn’t there a complete trust of what God has provided?

This always reminds me of when Moses was leading the Israelites through the desert.  The Manna provided by God each morning just wasn’t enough. We see rebellious intentions again with the Israelites being too impatient while waiting for Moses to come down from the mountain and under the direction of Aaron they built false idols of gold to worship.
