We’re taking a look at the sequence of events that took place in Nauvoo, Illinois in 1842.

History of the Church, 4:552;Wednesday, March 16.—I was with the Masonic Lodge and rose to the sublime degree.

James 5:12; But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

This took place on March 16, 1842.
