Moroni 8:1; “An epistle of my father Mormon, written to me, Moroni; and it was written unto me soon after my calling to the ministry. And on this wise did he write unto me, saying…” – About A.D. 401–21.
Psalm 19:7; “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.”
Apparently, the BoM passage above was supposedly written c. 401-421 AD.
However, the BoM also tells us Moroni’ s father died in 385 AD. How did the prophet Mormon write a letter to his son, Moroni, after he was already dead??? Also see Mormon chapter 6 heading confirming that Mormon died in 385 AD.
This is another reason why it’s better to stick with God’s word!
