LDS Women have 3 Jobs: Teach, Make Others Happy, Necromancy

16 May

“But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.” Hebrews 7:24

General Women’s Meeting, “If Thou Art Faithful,” November 1984“God has given the women of this church a work to do in building his kingdom. That concerns all aspects of our great triad of responsibility—which is, first, to teach the gospel to the world; second, to strengthen the faith and build the happiness of the membership of the Church; and, third, to carry forward the great work of salvation for the dead. … We expect leadership, and strength, and impressive results …” — President Gordon B. Hinckley

The reason for mentioning the LDS reference above is because it was in an article for the March Liahona, ‘Connecting Daughters of God with His Priesthood Power’. In fact, for the last several months the Church has put a great emphasis on their ‘priesthood’ – even more so than usual, that is.

With the pushback from groups like Ordain Women (founded by Kate Kelly), and others who’ve blown open wide the doors of info, the Church is scrambling. Now they’re pushing articles trying to explain how the priesthood works, but they’ve missed the mark by a wide margin. Not one time have we seen anyone mention the truth about OT biblical priesthood, and who held it, meaning the line of Aaron and his sons.

The priesthood they’re referring to is a manmade priestcraft assembled by none other than Joseph Smith. They’re gathering random comments from past leaders, and throwing them at the wall to see what sticks.

What caught our attention is the comment by Hinckley who thought it was a woman’s duty to make people happy, and perform rituals for dead people.

This has nothing to do with what Jesus tells us in His word when He said the two greatest commandments are to love the Lord with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself – Matthew 22:36-40.

Moreover, this has absolutely nothing to do with the true biblical priesthood. That priesthood is held by only One (meaning Jesus), and it’s non-transferrable! Hebrews 7:24. For more info on the priesthood and authority issues, see our Mentoring Handbook.

Please, pray for everyone who reads this outlandish lie! How in the world could making people happy get you into heaven??? Oh, be still my heart!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
