LDS Lies Taught to Female Youth Groups, Part 1

19 June

Today and tomorrow we’re taking a look at some of the egregious lies the Church has passed off as truth to the most vulnerable: the kids.

Today we’re looking at what used to be part of the lesson plan in the LDS Young Women’s Manual. This isn’t something taught a century ago, rather, this is from just 2-3 yrs ago. The young girls subjected to these lies are either still in the system, or they’ve started families of their own by now. We posted an article on the first part of this lesson in 2012.

Please, pray for those who had to listen to this, and believed the outrageous lies!

Young Women Manual 2 –

“If you are going to work in the Church system you will learn to be obedient to your bishop. If you get into trouble you will be wise if you seek his advice and counsel. He has been designated by the Lord and appointed by the President of the Church to be responsible for you and to make sure you progress according to your worthiness and ability. … … He will see you every year at tithing settlement. He will interview you. … If you go on a mission he will be the one who makes the first inquiry as to your fitness and ability to serve in this capacity” (S. Dilworth Young, More Precious than Rubies [Salt Lake City: Bookcraft, 1959], pp. 40–41).”

The Church rewrote their manuals so this is no longer available at LDS.org., however, you can borrow Ms. Young’s book with the quote intact for 14 days from Archives.com.

The wording in this teaching is derogatory, not to mention intimidating! It’s designed to put a young woman in a subservient position, making her feel less of a person. It’s a typical doctrine of this church, and one that should be a warning for all.

True Christianity doesn’t operate on these standards. This teaching is a primer for their theory God created woman to bring spirit babies into the world. Bottom line: it’s sex for salvation which is totally unbiblical my friend! If you’re a Christian can you just imagine being spoken to this way?

The Lord created us to have a relationship with Him, and glorify Him in that manner. In Mormon theology, God created us solely for the purpose of reproducing with the potential of becoming gods, and goddesses someday.

Colossians 1:16  “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him”.

Furthermore, God doesn’t require year end meetings to decide if you’re worthy or not. Your pocketbook has nothing to do with salvation. It’s the intent of your heart God is concerned about, and He is the judge of our worthiness, not others.

No matter who you are, if you’ve rejected the spilt blood of God’s Son you will be found unworthy.

Think about it –

Do you have enough money to settle the demands of the Mormon god? What happens if you don’t, or can’t pony up?

This is a shameful display of trying to control people for a false god. Tomorrow we’ll look at how they’re still doing this even with their new teaching manuals.

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
